My name is Annabel Cumberworth and I’m a passionate landscape/ documentary photographer from England.
I’m based in Lincolnshire and Norfolk and I’m a recent graduate at Norwich University of Arts studying BA (Hons) Photography where I graduated with a 2:1 in 2021.
I specialise in documentary and landscape photography. As growing up around nature and the coast is where I feel a connection and produce my best work.
As a documentary photographer I am interested in capturing the rawness of the world, literally or though the creative process. My images celebrate life, structure and energy. A large body of my work focuses on landscapes and the natural world. Water is a reoccurring theme within my portfolio where I explore its energy, fluidity and state. The interplay between energy and matter fascinates me, transforming the reality of subjects through imaginative manipulation of light.
Over recent years I have engaged in a variety of commercial work ranging from portraiture covering school proms, new born shoots and documentary portraiture recording the Lincolnshire farming community. I have also worked with the environment agency and county wildlife trust recording aspects of their work and prevision for use on their websites and published materials. Most recently I have been working with Springwell Lincolnshire Alternative Academy’s MAT to produce a range of publicity materials in both a printed and multimedia format. This material is currently in use on their websites and public spaces.
I’m currently available for commissions.
